This loss is BAD but for the first time in a long while I have hope for next year. Player development for the TALENT that is on this team ( with a few additions ) will bring another championship home to the Cowboys. Prior to the season, no one expected anything or much at all from Austin, Jenkins , and Spencer. Now they are key blocks to the puzzle for next year.

Who will step up next year - Ogletree, Brandon Williams, Marty B

We have the parts, just need continued poise from our leader ( Romo ) , add a few parts on the O-Line , get a ballhawk S , another WR / KR and bring the noise on D again

Roy Williams and Romo need to get on the same page... I think Romo needs trust Roy to make the catch when he's covered. WRs in the NFL aren't going to be wide open all the time, so you have to take shots.

Yep, this season is ultimately a success for the emergence of Austin, Spencer and Jenkins into what looks to be perennial Pro Bowler caliber players.

I would add Felix into that group, with an asterisk depending on if he can stay healthy and if Garrett can ever figure out how to use him the way the Rams used Marshall Faulk or the way the Chiefs used Priest Holmes. There are more modern ways to utilize an explosive and dynamic back other than just the Pappa Bear Halas sweep toss.

Good post. I actually thought the three you mentioned were pretty much the only ones who brought it today.

Them, Witten, and Romo played their butts off. Other than that nobody seemed to stand out much.

Seriously, for all the grief Parcells got for being a "dinosaur" how about the best Garrett can come up with to utlize Felix' speed is run the same 1957 toss right over and over and over again?

He needs to get in the film room and look at the way Martz utilized Faulk and the way Al Saunders utilized Priest Holmes in KC. They're all from the Norv offensive tree, so it shouldn't be that hard to adapt into his offense.

did Tony even look his way once today? Other than the first quarter I dont think a wideout made a catch....

he doesn't even make Felix a focal point of the O

even after he rushes twice for 27 yards

why would he design plays for him?
