The questions they ask go right at the heart of any potential controversy. This digging for dirt by the media, Werder and ESPN in particular, gets old real fast. It's like they are our enemies. I can appreciate Parcells approach with the media more and more.

I like how T.O. handled him. "Next question please". :laugh2:

Austin=Classy

Werder's last comments about balls thrown behind RW or Romo missing some throws last year are, if true, very good news. But we've heard all this before... Still, I have to say there were some badly thrown balls in RWs direction last year. I think that comes from Romo coming off to RW later in his progression, and thereby throwing the timing off. If RW can get Romo's confidence by season's start, I don't know that anyone will be able to stop us - just too many weapons...

There were plenty of balls RW just dropped, and i don't remember another WR where balls were thrown so far from the receiver you couldn't even tell who it was intended for. That just happened with Roy.

You can tell that it sting Austin to only be making 3 mil...but its hard to give a monster salary to a guy that was a UDFA and has only had one good year. If he puts up big numbers again, Jerry will pay him. He always does.

I agree with this. If Austin is having a big year by midseason Jerry may try to work out something so Austin doesn't get a chance to test the waters after the season.

This is the way it should be done.
Once he proves his ability to do it for more than a season and removes any doubt that '09 was a fluke (he isn't gonna catch anybody be surprise this year) JJ wil lock-him up. Until then he's got more than 3 million reasons to be happy. I'm glad he's taking the high road.

ESPN and Werder are knobs.
I can't stand the agenda that ESPN tries to spin with the Cowboys in every report they do.
Go find some un-named sources for dirt Ed. Ya weasel!

Austin - Class

Werder - Trash

Two things I like about this report. First Miles is a classy honorable individual. Second, ESPN is grasping at straws trying to stir up controversy. :espn:

This team is unbreakable and unshakable; it is killing the mediots both nationally and locally.

Anyone else notice the reporters like...shoving the mic into Williams' face? He was leaning away and they kept shoving it into his cheek :lmao:

ESPN wants to be the story - not the players.

I could get paid $3 million and make the best of it too.

jk

I'm sure he's been promised a conract around mid season if he keeps his play up.
