Austin/Williams Tandem Could Make Cowboys History


Miles Austin (11) and Roy Williams (7) have combined for 18 touchdowns through the first 15 games. With two touchdown catches in the season finale, the Austin-Williams duo would become just the third Cowboys wide receiver tandem to combine for 20 touchdown receptions in a season. The other two are: Terrell Owens and Patrick Crayton who totaled 22 in 2007; and Frank Clarke and Bill Howton who totaled 20 in 1962.

Currently the Austin/Williams tandem is tied at 18 with Bob Hayes/Lance Rentzel (1968) and Tony Hill-Drew Pearson (1979).

a few more snaps for crayton/ogletree/hurd would be okay right now. I would definitely keep RoyW around as we near the end zone as he does his best work there and we have had a lot of trouble punching it in.
