Guys had a pretty nice game. Just wanted to throw props out to the ex cowboys.

He had a good game, if he could do it for 16 games a year, he would be starting somewhere.

he played well against a half hearted team, very impressive

...rag on Cason better look at the end result of the game.

He contributed to a win and that in my books is worth noting. Tonight our lives are nothing compared to the good feelings and congratulations the Rams deserve for coming into Dallas and showing the players and the fans who is the better and more professional franchise for one day.

if he gets into the secondary he's a problem - good top-end speed. but i'd swear julius has the better "burst" and i prefer instant quicks over cruising speed in a RB.

Was it me, or did Cason looked pretty bulked up from the last time we laid eyes on him? This seemed to be further evidenced by him running with more power than before.

He was playing us Cowpokes tonight, not the 85 Bears.

Irrespective of that, it seemed to me that he had added some size in the upper body. He also broke a tackle or two, something I don't recall seeing during his tenure in Dallas.

Fug Aveion! It was the last game with nothing riding on it for either team.

The scrub ran on us with nothing riding on the line.

COWBOYS CONTENDING IN 2006-07'! WRITE IT DOWN!

Uh oh! Call the presses! Aveion broke a tackle or two. Get his bust ready for Canton.

:lmao2:

P.S. He added some muscle. :lmao:

The gist of my observation was that he seemed like a bulked-up player with some more power, which caught my eye since he was always looked at as too small when he was here and certainly not big enough to carry the load full-time. It was just a comment on a former player that I thought looked noticeably different.

P.S.- Do you think he'll choose to go in as a Lion, Cowboy, or Ram?

Cason did play well...likely, well enough to remain third on the Rams' depth chart next season, regardless of where Faulk is playing. But he did have a great game -- possibly a career game in terms of judging his carry-by-carry performance.

I appreciate the input of someone who's actually seen the player up close and personal and therefore has a better means of comparison.

Did they make mention that he was a former Cowboy?

Not like it matters, but I didn't hear it at all.

He bulked up in the upper body in his last off-season with the Cowboys. Didn't he get cut in camp in '04? I don't think he got many carries -- even in preseason -- that year, which is likely why no one remembers the bulked up version of Cason with the Cowboys.
