Just stuff added to the end of the credits. Not even sure if it's actual scenes, or just bonus material fluff.

It's not as much as I was hoping for, but I think I'll still head out to the theaters one more time to see it and help them to break Avatar's record.

Less than $50 million remains between A:E final gross and the all-time box office title. Maybe this is Disney and Marvel's way of putting James Cameron out of his misery. :muttley:

That's definitely what they're going for, as well I think to a lesser extent as a lead-in and good will towards Spider-man: Far from Home.

Gotta hand it to Disney, another clever money grab.

Many movies in the past have done re-releases without bonus footage. Avatar, Titanic, Star Wars Trilogy (with updated effects, and then another as special edition) etc. Disney isn't the only one to do it, nor did they originate it. I wonder what movie was the first to do it?

Probably some silent movie, once they added sound.

I HATE that they are doing this.

It's a bad precedent to set.

It'll soon turn into the video game industry, where gaming companies put out unfinished games and then charge people for DLC to add content that should have been there from the start.

Went to see it one last time in theaters and wanted to give anyone who's on the fence a review on the 'added footage' if you haven't already heard. There's nothing added to the actual film, just an intro from one of the Russo's and an after credit unfinished deleted scene. Although there was a wonderful and touching tribute to Stan Lee that I really enjoyed.

But unless you want to see the film in theaters one last time, there's little reason to go again.

In the commercial, they say to stay tuned after the end credits.

Yes. That's where the vast majority of material is shown. A deleted unfinished Hulk scene and a Stan Lee tribute are shown, and then about a minute of footage from Spider-man Far from Home.

That's it.

I don't think it's enough to put the movie over the top of Avatar. More like a missed opportunity to not do more and give people a more valid reason to head bank out to theaters.

If I had to guess, I'd say that they didn't want to spend the money to add visual effects to footage that was initially edited out.

A:E is less than $23 million from toppling Avatar. It will be both a shame and laughable if a movie that made so much money, in such a ridiculously small amount of time, fell short of the all-time box office record by a few million dollars. lol.
