Wonder what it will be this year.. our home opener will have 45-50k..
That is insane. Jerry is a money making geniushttps://i.*******/ntz64my92w351.jpg
Now if he could find a way to win playoff games...I could not care less about how much cash he’s rolling in.That is insane. Jerry is a money making genius
Sad but so true in Jerry’s world.Crowd size...that’s what we have to choose from when it comes to bragging rights these days. Smh.
Unfortunately for us fans $$$ is all that matters in the nflNow if he could find a way to win playoff games...I could not care less about how much cash he’s rolling in.
How do the Rams draw 70k and the Chargers 30k? Is it just because of the Rams prior history in L.A.? It seems extreme.
It's the stadium's.
Chargers played in a tiny soccer stadium and Rams played in 100,000 seat Coliseum.
Imagine having more ppl in the stands but worse home field advantage. Local cowboys fans are the worst fans in sports. Ppl trash philly about their fans being nasty and aggressive at least they have some passion about their team. I picture cowboys fans showing up in polo shirts with khakis and boat shoes, trying to order mai tais from the beer vendors.
Ive personally never been to a home game. Have friends and clients that have been. My friends that have went say the home fans dont know when to cheer when to be quiet mostly casual fans that dont actually know football. Watching the games from home you can tell how stale it is.lol. This is false. The stadium is great for big games just like Texas Stadium was. The issue with this city is they are laid back for the noon starts. All the bad perception of the local fans at the stadium is from the noon games. The night games are always fun and the big games are great here.
The current problem that has gotten out of control is the scalping. There are different people in there for every game and the types of people that buy these tickets are there for a party or to gawk at things and not the game. Ever since 2014 or so it has been really bad. Prior to that season I would see the same faces every week. I remember people selling their tickets to home games in 14 because they thought the team would suck and then showing up late in the year acting like they were these big fans.
as far as boat shoes and mai tais are concerned i mean you are way off. The best part of this fan base locally are the blue collar mexican americans. They are all in and they are great fans in the stadium. That rich upper class white guy you are describing is probably there in the club level but I never really saw much of that and they are the part of the fanbase that just sits there and says if you want me to cheer win something.
This place will never be Buffalo or Seattle but for big games its excellent.

But yet we are to take this franchise seriously. And it has no home field advantage. Every game there are at least 10,000 fans from our opponent that week. Yeah that “Stayjum” is doing exactly what it was built to do- make loads of cash. The best NFL stadiums make money but are also great home field advantages for the home team. Another Jerry gives the fans the finger moment while laughing all the way to the bank.
That's how you make 950 million in revenue.
That stadium is a goldmine.
I have always been under the assumption that teams make home field advantage, not fans, this is across all sports.
Example, in Kansas City before Andy Reid there was no home field advantage because the team was average, even though they had the loudest stadium in the NFL. Now with the team being good, it might be the toughest venue in the NFL.
Seattle is loud because of the by product of their stadium. Crowd noise is amplified by the acoustics of the stadium. Jerry built his stadium to make money, not crowd noise.
