Average points scored in games and such

So a of right now the avergae points scored is 45.85.

The only year even close to that is 2008 with 40 points scored on average in week 1.

Usually it falls around 35-38 points a game.

Also we only have 1 game this year were a team in the game did not reach 20 points. THat happened in 8 games last year.

Lesson learned? defenses are sucking in week 1. so dont take our defensive performance to heart tonight because it is extremely bad this week compared to previous years.

Seriously defenses just are not prepared.
