I remember Collins played well in some preseason games and some spot duty last season. He probably evolved his game by now. Hopefully we don't have to find out tomorrow.
Yeah, I guess he must not be ready yet. I haven't kept up to know if when they activate the 21-day practice window if the player has to practice the full 21 days before he can be added to the roster or if that's just a general evaluation period. They opened the practice window for him a couple if weeks ago. Maybe he is not 100%.
Lol, ask the clown show. The 8 win man. The Cooper Rush is better than Dak guy. Hilarious. All you need is the QB. Just ask @MountaineerCowboy and the other haters.
We have known that.So this means Brett Maher will be your kicker tomorrow.
You didn't know anything, cheerleader. We have known that.
The player can play immediately after the practice window is opened but that means they take up a spot on the 53 once they're active for a game.Yeah, I guess he must not be ready yet. I'd go with Collins at tackle before Ball. I agree that he should be first off the bench if there is any injury. You are correct that he's out of callups, which is probably why they added him to the 53.Collins has been activated in a few games. He might be close to the limit for practice squad callups. This is directly related to Peters being out.
Hoffman has also been activated from three prior games. I know nothing about him. It is interesting that we still have one of the UDFAs on the list but keep making Hoffman active.
Farniok has been in the 21 day period for at least 10 days to two weeks. Must not be quite ready. I would feel better with him as our guard/center backup to be honest. In the event of a Biadasz injury, back to McGovern as center and I guess Collins as first off the bench.
God help us if Ball has to play.
I sure did. ClownYou didn't know anything, cheerleader.
Collins was added to the 53, but Hoffman was still just a callup. However, we could not call up Hoffman again now, so whether we add him to the 53 might depend on Farniok's progress. Hoffman can still go back to the practice squad but you lose the right to use him as a callup. He would have to be signed to the 53 as his "fourth callup."JUst checked, after third activation, a player has to be added to the 53. So Hoffman and Collins I believe are now on the 53 through the playoffs. I would assume we would cut Ball if Peters comes back for any more games.
You merely trumpet anything the team does. You don't have a single independent thought.I sure did. Clown
Thanks. I think I knew that at one point, but couldn't recall exactly what the rule was.The player can play immediately after the practice window is opened but that means they take up a spot on the 53 once they're active for a game.
The practice window is just to give teams the 3 weeks before they must use a spot on the 53 or put the player back on IR for the season.
Are you sure on Hoffman....it is showing him as called up three prior games? This would be his fourth.Collins was added to the 53, but Hoffman was still just a callup. However, we could not call up Hoffman again now, so whether we add him to the 53 might depend on Farniok's progress. Really? It was common knowledge that Maher outkicked the other guy in practice this week and would be the kickerYou merely trumpet anything the team does. You don't have a single independent thought.
Yeah well, and if that QB don’t have no super powers he ain’t no good, just ask him… he’ll tell ya!!!All you need is the QB. Just ask @MountaineerCowboy and the other haters.

Playoff games don't count against the 3 game callup limit. Are you sure on Hoffman....it is showing him as called up three prior games? This would be his fourth.
The second post in this thread says that he's being elevated from the practice squad, which means that he had callup eligibility left. I'm assuming Collins did not since they signed him to the 53.Are you sure on Hoffman....it is showing him as called up three prior games? This would be his fourth.
