Thanks, D............you think he makes 55?Cornelius was our 6th round pick
YesThanks, D............you think he makes 55?
I didn't think he would, but I'm leaning more toward that direction now. I haven't been that impressed with Adeniji, and honestly even Richards hasn't been as good as I expected. Thanks, D............you think he makes 55?
Richards has game experience, so I can see him possibly being shoppedI didn't think he would, but I'm leaning more toward that direction now. I haven't been that impressed with Adeniji, and honestly even Richards hasn't been as good as I expected.
Right now, I think we could be Guyton, Smith, Beebe, Booker, Steele, Thomas, Richards, Bass, Hoffman and Cornelius.
I'll be surprised by it. I think the fact that they've used him as a blocking tight end some in practice shows they have a plan for him. But I've been disappointed in his play at tackle and see why they elevated Thomas ahead of him to start if Guyton misses time.Richards has game experience, so I can see him possibly being shopped
He had the two pre snap penalties in game one and Schottenheimer called him out specifically in the press conference so he’s on the radar for sureI'll be surprised by it. It is possible they could decide to keep the more experienced Adeniji instead of Richards, but I've seen no reason to do that. I think Thomas will become the swing tackle once Guyton returns.
Looks like Cornelius is a keeper , nice to see a 6th round pick with some upside. Another good value pick,I wish Dallas was as good at picking defensive tackles , they consistently pick good offensive linemen.Cornelius was our 6th round pick
Richards has regressed. I’ve seen a few roster projections without him on itHe had the two pre snap penalties in game one and Schottenheimer called him out specifically in the press conference so he’s on the radar for sure
Yep. Unless he makes a huge leap with the new scheme, this needs to be Steele’s last year.I'm hoping the Oregon Duck (Cornelius) develops and can replace Steele next season. I liked him in college.
Who? Richards? Yeah, he's disappointed me because I thought he deserved a shot at starting. I still think he should get a roster spot, though. He had the two pre snap penalties in game one and Schottenheimer called him out specifically in the press conference so he’s on the radar for sure
I have trouble believing that he won't make the roster, but his play has surprised me. If we view Thomas as the swing tackle, I'm not sure Richards will even be active. I know we'll have Hoffman active as the interior backup. Richards might be the third game-day backup, though, if we view him as a tight end in the heavy sets. Of course, a lineman like Cornelius might can take on that extra blocker role.Richards has regressed. I’ve seen a few roster projections without him on it
Totally agree, Dallas is building an offensive line Booker looked good against the Ravens. Cornelius jumps off of the screen in his Oregon film, he may be the right tackle of the near future. This is a young and talented group, impressive. Cornelius looked good in the Ravens game as well. I would love to see Dallas become a great running team and beat teams like Kansas City, by running the ball.I am glad to see Ajani Cornelius step it up big time these past 2 preseason games. He has the size, strength and athleticism to really become a very good Oline if he stays focused and determined to keep improving. I liked both T. Booker (1st round) and A. Cornelius (6th round) oline picks this year, and they both are showing they were good picks. Certainly beats the scrap Olinemen we've gotten in previous years.
