Emmitt Smith

Take the time to watch this video. It displays Emmitt's incredible vision and ability to juke defenders out.

This guy is my favorite football player of all time and the player I always looked up to most as a kid.

I like to go back and watch old games from time to time and the announcers usually mention how Emmitt is the best RB in the league like Barry Sanders didn't even exist.

Everyone is pumped up for the Pre-Season game but everyone needs to remember that this week is about the Greatness that was Emmitt Smith.

You're the man 22!

Awesome! I feel privileged to have been a Cowboy fan during his playing days!

The vision is ridiculous. He sets up and uses his blockers better than anyone, ever.

I feel the same way. He is my favorite all time player. I used to collect his football cards. Funny story, a kid that lived down the street from me was a huge Commanders fan, and he would trade me his Emmitt cards for my Heath Shuler cards. I laughed every time we traded.

His spin move was crazy how good it was. Ballance was rediculous. I don't know what my favorite was but @ about 4:20 he makes a cut vs teh Eagles that was stupid. Also, the spin @ 5:12 against the Colts.

Of course Emmitt was the man but I have to disagree, this vid is not very good. Several instances where they use the same highlight numerous times.

What? Couldn't find enough hightlight footage of the greatest RB of all time? If not, then just make the dang vid shorter, instead of playing it off like these are all unique highlights. I hate when they do that!

Oh, and whoever chose the background music has no concept -- slow piano music? Are you kidding me? Is that supposed to be an attempt at nostalgia?

Emmitt deserves better than this.

Was going to post the same thing. Watched this vid a few months back, and was annoyed it was the same plays over and over and over..

Yeah, where's the rap music? Or Drowning Pool's "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor".

It's funny when comparing the all time greats how Emmitt is always 5th or 6th best ever.

But when you hear all those rushing records he holds. 5th or 6th? crazy.

Brett Favre holds a ton of records, but I wouldn't put him at #1.

Yeah, like "most interceptions of all time." That, and the fact that he has only won one SB, losing another his team was heavily favored in, prevents him from being put at #1. Not sure how Favre compares to Emmitt.

Running backs are paid to run as far as they can and score as many touchdowns as they can. And Emmitt did both better than anyone else. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the all-time fumbling record.

Nor did Emmitt fumble the ball within field goal range in the final moments of OT of the NFC championship game.

His longitivity as primary ball-carrier is a testament to his elusive skills and the rushing record is a proof for yards after 1st contact . That was one of his speciality, make the guys miss. LOL !

Awesome , thanks for sharing ......

Emmitt, thanks for the memories !

Boy, were we spoiled !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The vid of Haley teaching our LBs is better.

No way. Did you see some of those cuts and did you hear Charles Haley's lisp?

Not even close.
