I'm worried Jerry Jones is not only not trading Romo, but going to start him game 1. Don't count that out from Jerry.

Exactly, it only take 2 interested teams to get something going. Of course gms would prefer to wait for the obvious release but if they REALLY want Romo they wont let him hit the open market.

No way. If Jerruh was gonna play Romo over Dak he would have last year. Romo will not go to camp with Dallas. Of course nothing makes my OPINION any more valid than yours.

I believe Jerry wanted to start Romo but Stephen talked him out of it. However when the Cowboys lost the first playoff game despite Dak playing great it may have been a "told ya so" in Jerry's mind. Jerry probably thinks we should have went with Romo. We'll see what happens but ultimately it's Jerry who decides and Romo is like a son and someone he still thinks he can win a Super Bowl with. If nothing else I don't think we can 100% rule it out.

I say he was all in the Dak train.

I've said from day one that AZ would be the best fit for Romo and would make the most sense. The Cards were the best team not to make the playoffs and were top 10 in offense and defense. Palmer has been up and down and Romo would be an upgrade. AZ doesn't have a young developing QB with starting potential so adding Romo to replace Palmer would make a lot of sense. The Cards are known for bringing in aging veteran QBs with Warner and Palmer.

He's the GM. Reporters ask, he talks. Since when has he been a mute to the press.

His last interview "let's cool it on the trade Romo talk" You can say that's postering and that's possible but that's what he said. He also said he thinks Romo can still win a Super Bowl. My interpretation isn't that he means win a Super Bowl for some other team but with the Cowboys. Since when do these things get said about the backup? Never. His talking is not going to change Romo's trade value at all either.

Yeah, I don't think so. Jerry once again saw what he's seen before, with Romo, but this time with a different QB. An unprepared team that got into a hole due to poor play by the defense and some penalties (bogus or otherwise) that was admirably brought back by a good QB, but still failed to get it done. Things the so-called anti-Romo crowd have criticized the so-called Romo-crowd (presuming such a dichotomy exists) with as "excuse" giving.

I still think the Rams are the best bet and no one is talking about it.

Goff needs to sit and learn. GM needs to improve now or lose his job. They have a great RB, good young receivers, a top defense. All they need is a QB and improvement on the OL. A certain former head coach of the Cowboys is their new D coordinator and will likely be in the meetings where these types of things are discussed. Romo to the Rams. I see it happening.
