This probably has to do with an expected contract. He probably wanted more than what was going to be offered. Then again, the guy played well early in the year, then would run out of gas and wasn't worth a crap at the end of the year. I wouldn't offer him a big contract either.

He was very good early in his career and basically fizzled out after that.

Supposedly has to do with spending time with his ailing mother and aunt, PTI. Did not rule out a comeback at some point.

If he saved his money then nothing wrong with getting out early if you don't want to go through it anymore.
