Liked Smith in Miami. Want to say he was good in man to man. It's been a while since I've watched him.

Vernon is a good passrusher, but had quite a few roughing the passers penalties. Wants over 10 million a year.

Typically the team that wins Free Agency doesn't do much the next year. Denver this year was a anomaly

Thats with big free agents across the board. Low level guys is not a problem.

Ward, Ware, Talib etc. Weren't the best out there plus it took them 2 years to pull it together.

Getting Mebane, Janoris, and possibly Berry as our FA will go a ton of fixing this team

Alshon Jeffrey would be awesome next to Dez, but spending that much on two WR's would be devastating. I would prefer to spend on a cheaper option like Andre Holmes or draft a WR in the top 3 rounds who we believe could make an impact this season. Our WR corps behind Dez were exposed this season when Romo/Dez went down.

Didn't he beast it in Oakland?

I like Lamar Miller. Hayward would be a good addition too and might help keep us from taking Ramsey first.

Jeffrey is almost certain to be franchised. I would love to pair him with Dez though.

I could see Carr getting cut and Dallas going after one of the premier CBs on the market. And that would be the extent of their moves in FA, outside of trying to retain their own.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I hardly call what Holmes has been doing in Oakland as "beasting". A single 100 yard game in 18 starts in 3 years.

He is a big size speed player that occasionally flashes, but he is not consistent enough to be relied upon even as a starter in a WR poor team like Oakland.

T. Will > Andre Holmes

Dallas should look at the draft for a WR..

Corey Coleman, Josh Doctson, and guys like that who will be cheap and have big upside.

Im fine with Lamar Miller if he'll take a 2 or 3 year deal.

I really hope we spend FA money on defenders.

My reply to the OP... No to all the RBs. Maybe to the WR. Yes to the CBs.

I have been calling for Hayward for a couple months. Great young corner with scheme versatility.

Martin could be an interesting pick-up, for the right money, but he is coming off his best season as a pro so he might be looking for too much.

Martin has no break-away ability at all. He's strictly a compiler. Pass.

I think if Jeffrey is available, you go get him and pay him market value. His signing would make the entire offense better immediately. Then invest on the defensive side of the ball where you can get decent value in FA. The rest of the holes would get filled in the draft. Getting an instant impact receiver in the draft isn't really all that likely. Too much of a learning curve.

Ian Williams - NT (San Fran)
Huge improvement over Hayden. Could be had for a reasonable price

David Bruton - FS (Denver)
Team Leader. Broke his leg. Major upgrade over Church. Denver doesn't appear to need him.

Vincent Rey - ILB (Cinci)

Blurb on Hayward just released.

Free agent CB Casey Hayward said he'll "probably" test the open market.

The 2012 second-rounder started 13-of-18 games this past season for the Packers and graded out as the team's No. 1 cover corner at Pro Football Focus. Hayward played mostly in the slot in 2015 and could be looking for a full-time gig as an outside corner. After GM Ted Thompson drafted Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins in the first and second rounds last year, the Packers are in okay shape with those two and Sam Shields should Hayward move on.

The Bears have like 50m in cap space. Jeffery won't be going anywhere.

Not in favor of spending excessively for a RB in free agency. Dixon in round three might well be a good draft target and a valuable RB partner for McFadden.
