J-C:bad injury news around the cowboys, what is going on he is out for the year and then it is two weeks 20 minutes later?
BL: I read the papers and sites, I saw glenn out for the year and 1 of my producers checked it and saw it said two weeks. As i understand it, they had new information available to them, the possibility exists he will be out for the year, maybe a year long injury.

BL: McCardell was with phillips in San diego, He has no speed whatsoever, could be plugged in a week and be ready to play, miles austin maybe can be ready, hurd the same. Bl:changes things drammatically, crayton is a third down, inside wr who is strong but does not belong outside has no speed, if i am the giants I double Owens, he struggles with that, play crayton one on one and leave a safety over the top and force them to beat you running. owens doesnt like to be pressed.
JC: new giants DC, the cowboys havent solved the eagles D yet? Will we see the xmas day scheme?
BL: that scheme, owens caught 5 balls, he was pressed all game and doesnt have the technique to beat the press and doesnt like a man in his nose every play, he had a difficult time with that and I will be shocked if the giants do to the same thing, press him with help over the top.

Bl: I hate predictions, the nfl is a game of attrition, Tell me whos playing, each week, always depends on who is or is not playing, the giants were playing well last year and then they had a lot of injuries and struggled.....I can give you a predicition but it means nothing, If romo is healthy and no other key injuries and Dallas is a 9-7, 10-6 or 8-8. Not even to the first game and people are tossing out the season because newman and ellis and glenn are injured.
BL: Would you trade, giants lost 41% of their offense when barber retired, who would benefit more giants without strahan or the cowboys without ellis.

I wonder how you double team a guy that's motioning in between 2 receivers and the tight end. In-other-words, I would not allow any team to dictate how they play TO unless they change their entire defense.
I would almost consistantly motion TO into the slot and have him reversing field all day long.

Owens might not like to be pressed, but according to K.C. Joyner, he was second in the league in receiving yards against a cornerback playing off him by 2 yards or less (Lee Evans had 343, Owens had 307, next was Chad Johnson at 275). And Owens and Evans tied for the most TDs with four.
