I do still get a kick out of Billy Martin/George Steinbrenner telling Ken Griffey Sr. .... No kids (when ken Griffey jr was 13 years old or so)on the field.

For that reason Jr said he would never go to yankees.... Missing a chance for a World Series ring. He retired without it.
