Let Romo have a John Elway end to his career. Elway was a great QB long before he won those Super Bowls, but those rings cemented him as one of the greats. You could no longer discredit him.

I can't help but think what Romo would have accomplished over his career with a better supporting cast.

Teams still think that Romo will "melt" under the pressure of having to shoulder his team. So they are selling out to stop the run on early downs. The thing is Romo is just as good as some of the media's favorite for a half or game or two. He is not a QB that can shoulder a whole season. It looks like physically he is probably as close to 100% that he will ever be this season and it is happening at the right time.

Heard nfl network saying Romo isn't in the mvp conversation cause Murray carries the team. Not sure what game he watched but Murray didn't play the whole game and had 59 yards. Romo had 4 tds

I've been saying this for awhile, but some of the NFL analyst are discrediting Romo's success due to our running game. Every QB needs a strong running game unless you have a freak of nature like Calvin Johnson. Furthermore it's not like our offense involves trickery, you know when we're passing or running. Our success is clearly attributed to the Oline, and its difficult to play QB without pass protection. Tom Brady has always had great pass protection, you think Drew Brees could throw for 5k without a great line?

Lastly Tony is tied for 5th in TDs with 100+ less pass attempts than the 4 ahead of him. Hes ridiculously efficient and IMO the best QB in the league this year.

We run so much on 1st down that opponents are stacking the box pretty heavily and frequently run blitzing. And we run into that and get stuffed.

Exactly, Dallas is still hitting some runs for good gains but it is tougher as more teams start selling out vs the run thankfully we have a passing offense that can attack as teams continue to do that.

Our run game actually has struggled lately in terms of yards per carry. I don't know what the deal is with that.

We are lethal, can run or pass. Also teams are selling out to stop Murray and the run game, Romo is making them pay

Murray played against the cards no? Romo is still the most important piece on offense. Murray is a close second. But the line makes it all go.

There are a lot of parallels between Elway and Romo.

The addition of a run game and then winning the Super Bowl would give them an awfully similar career arc.
