My annual trip there with the guys from KFFL.
This year was a small turnout of the online people.
Only Raid, Erk, Susky, DPierce, Doc Green.
There are usually 5 or 10 more there each year.
This year Raid really worked over the players.
Dawkins was late.... Nice you woke up on time.
This is more of a practice geared to the fans than getting much done.
There were not a lot of drills done this year as in the past.
Defense seems to rule the day today.
Multiple large rush formations. ND Kalu worked as MLB - but this was in rush situations only.
Not much in the way of rushing the ball.
McNabb has a swagger to his walk this year. Like he knows this is his camp.
TO was not present.
But Lurie was - prompting a Jeef - sign me I need food money!!! Which he actually turned and smiled.
Late in practice McNabb was watching from in front of the stands. He laid dow.
Hey Nabby's down. That's usually does not happen till the 4th quarter... And then a wretching sound. McNabb then got up. More cheering.
The second QB slot should go to McMahon from Rutgers.
Detmer can't get much mustard on the ball past 10 yards.
The d line and O line drills were away from us. Again this was a lot of full plays run in front of the fans.
Kickers and punters looked fine - same as usual.
I'm thinking this will the last year they are on top as their offense without TO is just average. If McNabb goes down they are in for a world of hurt.
Their D looks as strong as ever but they are starting to loose those extra players on the depth chart.
Interesting - their O lineman did not wear spikes. Just studded or ribbed sneakers. No knee braces.
I guess this was they do not get their legs locked into the grass.
Well football is nice even if it was the Eagles.
With the players we have - we should catch up and pass them next year.
Pinkston is out for the year. The WC offense kind of covers this difency up with multiple players.
