I have to say those Packer fans know how to party and tailgate. I had a great time at the game, of couse, the fact that we won there for the first time in history made it that much sweeter. The tour of Lambeau Field was very interesting and the fans were friendly. I'll never forget being at our first win there.

Describe the look on their faces when they realized they were going to lose.

Let's just say it got a bit more quiet. Maybe it was from all the cheese they were stuffing in their mouths. Just kidding there. Nice fans, but they really don't like us. At least some of them don't. Can't really blame them. I wouldn't like us either, especially after that beatdown.

You are never allowed to miss a game there again as long as you breathe. YOu just might be the reason.

;)

Glad you had a good time. Any pics?

I knew something puckered their anuses. Maybe it was the cheese.:D

I have to echo the comments above about the cheesehead fans. They are pretty classy and very dedicated fans.

I had a GREAT time. I forgot to take my camera, but the guy I went with took some. He's going to email them to me later in the week. I'll let you know if any are worth looking at. He's a Packer fan, so I'm not sure what will show up. LOL

I did get an authentic Barber jersey and an extremely nice 2 x 3 ft. mounted Staubach picture (mounted on wood) with 12 football cards surrounding the picture. The cards have Emmitt, Troy, Randy White, Moose, Irvin, Lily, Harvey Martin, Tony D., Novacek, Mel Renfro, and Roger the Dodge on them. It also has a name plate that says "America's Team", one that has all our Super Bowl wins, and one that has the names of all our Ring of Honor names on it. Mounted under Roger's big picture and on either side of the "America's Team" plate are a nice pewter helmet pin and a Cowboy pin that says "established in 1960". One of my prized possessions now to add to the rest of my stuff. Overall, an absolutely wonderful weekend.

So is that stadium right in the middle of a neighborhood?

Absolutely. I like where the stadium is located. There are many houses right next to the stadium, and I mean RIGHT NEXT to it. What a blast to live there if you were a Packer fan. Of course, the traffic on game day could be a pain, but you would have to love the significance of living directly next to the stadium.

Ju$t think what you could charge fans for parking on your lawn.

Yeah it seems different and not a bad idea to place it in a neighborhood so people could just walk to the game, but I could imagine it being pretty loud if you live next to it and you have to work early the next morning

They are and they're about as passionate as any I've ever seen. I guess having an NFL team in such a small town makes the fans feel like the players are family. Just a wonderful atmosphere. One guy had an old ambulance that he converted into a tailgating vehicle (complete with a very admirable bra collection hanging for all to see). Another had a van that said Packers S.W.A.T. painted on the front and side. Of course everything was green and yellow.

Seeing this pic reminded me of some of garb our fans were wearing. I saw several Cowboy fans sporting cheeseheads. However, their headwear consisted of foam in the shape of a star and were painted a very nice shade of blue. I was absolutely surprised how many Cowboy fans were there. We were very well represented.

I've got a question for you.

In the 4th quarter when Bennett caught the pass and ran the crowd went silent what were you thinking?

I could not believe how quiet it got.

To tell the truth, I didn't have much in the way of normal brain waves at that point. The Maker's Mark and coke had been flowing pretty well by that time. Seriously, I just knew we had it in the bag by that time. So did the rest of the crowd.

I just couldn't believe he was as wide open as he was, but Tony barely got the ball off due to their rush. Great catch and play by Bennett. Well, not really a great catch since he was all alone.
