Romo is good. Check.

Very important to score 2 tds without Dez IMO. You have to prove that your offense can go on if...well you know what I mean.

Gregory will be starting soon. The D changes when he's in the game. I cannot believe what we might have stole! I kept thinking to myself he needs to be in the game. Once he came in the defense changes!

I'm worried about the LBing right now. No Hitch right now, and Ro. No Carter or Durant. Very concerned even with the addition of Lee. The backups are not on par with any of those before mentioned.

I know it's PS, but the ST's are bad. I just can't imagine they are going to get cleaned up here in 2 weeks. Practice shows results on the field.

I don't know what to make of Dunbar. He will make 1.5 million this year, more than our other backs and he seems to do nothing, nada, zilch, zero! Wouldn't mind him being a surprise cut and letting Gus be that 3rd back.

Very Impressed by Carr and Claiborne last night. Carr is a professional. He may not be Revis, but he plays really well. Broken hand as well. Oh yeah did I mention he's never missed a game in his career?

McFadden is going to do well with the giant holes our Oline will open IMO, but the difference is he can be tackled by a corner as opposed to Murray. Seems really easy to take down IMO.

Very surprised Lucky didn't run with the intial ST's. If our plan is to let Dunbar run back kickoffs it's going to be the old make it to the 20 and fall down routine again.

2 weeks from tonight folks! Cannot wait!

Gakchar (sp) looked pretty good. Not worried about LB at all right now.

Mcfadden getting tackled by corners means he's 10-15 yards downfield so this is no concern for me.

I think you guys are underestimating the power Mcfadden has. It's not D. Murray type power but he can knock you on your *** still.

When McFadden was tackled, they were legitimate tackles, and most RB's, if not all would have gone down, most of the time. It wasn't like he was tapped and fell down. He used his body as not to take a big hit. As Murray looked for contact. I think sometimes that hurt Murray, and caused him to fumble. Or leave some yards on the field, if he would have tried to make a move. something that Randle and McFadden seem to do.
At least he held on to the ball, and unlike a Murray fumble.

Not building up DMC, nor putting down Murray, just different styles.
all still remains to be seen though.

The three culprits on that kickoff return: Lance Dunbar, Damien Wilson, and Tyler Patmon. They all left their lanes.

Which ties in with my post above - as soon as they left their lanes it was a wrap. They essentially allowed the Vikes to wall off 8 dudes with three blockers.

Agree, I like what I saw from him and also know he's solid in pass pro because he did that well with the Raiders. I'm not concerned with his Ability, just his Durability frankly.

Cut Dunbar pick up Pierre Thomas, use him on third downs.

No he didn't. Nobody had a chance. I was there.

It was blocked and sealed off as soon as Patterson fielded the kick.

Pretty much agree. My GOSH our ST coach is a tool. He looked lost on the sidelines last night and powerless to stop what was going on. Meanwhile Red looked pissed off in a big way. Something has to give there.

Won't argue with your logic, just don't think they'll do it. Dunbar makes 1.5 mil this season and they seem hell bent on squeezing him onto the field one way or the other. I've always liked Thomas though. He runs tougher than Dunbar by far IMHO

Dallas is trying new people on ST's so you cant really judge them till the final spec team squad plays in regular season.

I think we really wont know about the RB's till we see them in real games, this was a PS game and Minn was 7-9 last year.

Really these ps games dont tell you much.

Wilcox did what he was suppose to though. Those other 3 broke contain. They put JJ in a tough spot. I assure you that the STs coach chewed out those 3 and not JJ.

Plus, it was more of just flat getting beat by Patterson's speed than taking a bad angle.

I like hearing from people who went to the game.

Just a polite note though and not really for the OP.....seeing a game live sure doesn't mean someone somehow saw a play better than someone who saw it multiple angles (paused, reminded, etc) on TV.
Possibly the opposite.
