Back from the Game....Observations

Just got back, and wanted to give my 2 cents.

1. Defense. We could be in the midst of something great here. Sure, they gave up the tying score, but the strides this team has made on this side of the ball is quite amazing. That score was the first offensive TD given up in 175 min of play. They look hungry, and feed of emotion. Love it.
2. Offensive line is obviously gonna be a ? Run game was pretty much shut down, and pass protection was a bit of a problem. There were guys close to Bledsoe all day. When he did have time, he looked very sharp. The bomb to Glenn was a perfect ball that Glenn should have caught, and the TD to Witten that was called back was all Drew, getting slammed as he heaved the ball. I sure hope Tucker or whoever can hold their own, or its gonna be a long season.
3. Crowd. There were times I couldnt here myself think! It was awesome to be a part of that!
4. Heart. You can say whatever you want about the 4 turnovers, but this team never quit. To think we evened up the TO ratio in the second half, was amazing! Every player faught for as many yards as they could on every play. A team that does that, will be in every game. I like that!

Who looked like the best defensive player for the Boys ?

And just think of it this way, they really shut down the
division.True, they blew the final minutes with Washington,
but that was in the last 5 minutes.Get through the injuries,
and this team has real potential to dominate.

Who looked like the best defensive player for the Boys ?

Anthony Henry, no doubt. This guy was making plays all over the place. I couldnt see the review of the 2nd pick, but it looked like a pick from where I was. But he was out of his mind . Roy was sick too. Exept for the blown coverage, the FF, almost picked off a ball intended for Shockey in the first half. All in all a superb effort.

I love to hear analysis form people who was actually at the game as oppose to watching it on TV. You get a better view than us people at home.

I cant give enough props to the way our Defense is playing right now. Bill rotates alot of players to keep them fresh. Ware is freakin fast. The sack he had looked like he shot out of a cannon. And running down Tiki in the backfield? The guys gonna be a star, just give him 5-6 more games. I think the mix of vets and rooks on the line is paying off.

I was at the game and want to make a few observations.
On the 4th and whatever play near the end of the game we rushed only 3 guys and all 3 were double teamed. We had no chance to get to Manning and that just gave him all day to pick us apart.
In the last two games we have had nose tackles pulled down from behind by the other teams centers and no calls have been made. It blows me away when this happens and it is so obvious.
The crowd was very loud when the Giants had the ball in scoring position but was still too quiet at other times. But I will say when it was loud, I could not even think, so it must have been unbareable on the field. I LOVED it.
Lastly, the beers are just too expensive.
