Well Sunday was our annual family tailgating game and I just got back. To say the least, I had a great time before and after the game. I thought I would share some highlights of the game and you'll notice that none of them really pertain to football. I figured I'd contribute to this forum and try and share a little more.
Although I'm at the point where I don't get mad anymore, it sure was disappointing to see such a lack of effort. What a waste of money. I told my wife we're not buying one thing in that stadium and we stuck to that. If that team doesn't show heart, why should I support them with our money.
- The highlight of the game was a large man with a mustache dressed in a Cowboy Cheerleader uniform
- Showing people in costumes on the jumbotron was more entertaining than the game
- I only go to one game a year and I've never heard a crowd that large be so quiet
- I heard plenty of boos although I didn't participate
- At one point they showed Ed "Too Tall" Jones on the jumbotron texting. When he finally realized he was on the screen, his face was full of disgust
- My family of die-hard cowboy fans left before the game ended
- The plays of the game were two medium passes thrown to Austin and Bryant.
