Greetings my esteemed brothers..

My first post of the day.

Bare with me.

I am jazzed and did not get to bed until 2am.

We watched the replay of the game when we got back.

We are sick.

What can I say?

Anyway..I have several things to discuss about the game..

they will be upcoming as I get the time.

Thanx for playing along.

So..

one of the things that jumped out at me..

and really won the game for us..

was on our last TD drive the refs..

made those 2 PI calls against the Seahawks defense.

When the first one happened and it extended our drive another set of downs..

I said to my brother.

"They should not have done that. Now we might get lucky and score".

Then the 2nd PI call happened against Seattle.

I said to my brother "They just lost the game.."

And DAK took us in.

I will stop here for now..

I heard in the post game interviews with Jerrah that he was asked about the Seattle holding calls..

and he said we had similar defensive philosophies to Seattle..

and sometimes there is hand fighting going on..

and sometimes the call goes the other way..?

Did anybody catch that, too.?

Wow. Interesting answer from our GM who is supposed to be dumb as a rock about football.

What are your guys thoughts on the refs handing us the game on a Silver platter?

I’m glad you had a great time man. I’m happy for you. When Dallas goes to the Super Bowl, I am planning on tailgating at the stadium watching it on TV in the parking lot. That’s why the East Coast boys are playing on. Congratulations

Maybe you missed the non-call for pi that resulted in the turn-over in the endzone.

Replay clearly shows that the defender hit the WR Brown before the ball arrived which is what caused the turn-over. That cost the Cowboys 3 or 7 points.

The call that nullified the Tavon Austin TD was questionable. In real time it looked like a penalty but on replay it really wasn't a hold. It was closer to a block in the back than a hold but they normally don't call that on special teams plays like they might on offense.

The Cowboys consider that player as one of their top Special Teams players. He knows how to play ST and likely thought he was playing within the rules.

Yep.

You are correct.

:hammer:

I forgot that call.

Of course.

We all have much to discuss this week.

Later.

:)

Handing us? They missed so much, including the PI on the INT, and numerous holds.
Agreed.

Thanx for mentioning it.

The refs for once helped us is my point here..

not a throw down on them.

I am happy what happened.

Maybe they were trying to make up for their blown calls too.

Hmmmm...

What Walker said
Plus my son(charger fan:)
Could not believe the non holding calls on their OL

The team won the game, it was not handed to us on a silver platter. That is utter nonsense.
I do not know about nonsence.

But the ref calls, either made or not made near the end were providential.

Glass half full or half empty.

Whatever.

:grin::grin:

I watched with a few guys who don't watch Dallas ever (Pats fans). They hate Jerry, hate the star, think the Patroits are really America's team. I say that to set up that they do not in any way ever want to say a positive word about or boys.

Even they were commenting, and even laughing, at the level of holding against our DL. One buddy commented that the Pats wouldn't get a single sack of the OL they were playing were allowed to do that. "How the hell did Lawrence get 10 sacks dealing with that shiate" was another comment.

Don't give me your tiny foil hats, I'm just relaying the observations of a few Cowboy haters.

How was the atmosphere? How did it compare to the Packers game in 2016?

Not that I noticed any of them, but I did find it odd that neither team seemed to hold anybody all game long. As to the Seattle PI calls, they were pretty blatant. I did comment on another thread that I think the refs were a little more favorable towards us after they screwed us on the missed PI/INT call.

Both those penalties were legit. Would you prefer them NOT to call them on us? There were several non-calls that had huge implications such as the interception in the endzone.
No..

sorry if I was unclear.

I was HAPPY about the penalties.

I was just feeling that in the end..

we finally had some calls go our way.

So hope that helps.

We good.

This was a hard fought win. Both of those PI calls were legit. Plus the Seahags were hitting late and going for ankles.
I was scared to death about Russell Wilson.

Like when after the 2 minute warning..

he goes 75 yards in 3 plays?

That kind of scared.

So he just ran out of time or who knows..?

Happy Happy...

Tailgating? If they got to the Super Bowl, I'm going...

Those 2 PI calls are almost as blatant as the one that wasn't called that caused the int. Those 2 calls were absolute no brainier calls. Especially on that double move
