Alright, I admit that I was a little jaded by Choice and his attitude this season, and I still believe he needs to understand it is not about him but what he can do to contribute toward the greater good of the TEAM.

That said, because of Felix's short lived injury, he finally saw some time today. And in that limited stretch, he looked like the best running back on the roster. Maybe that's just what hunger will do, but I was impressed with his quick initial bust hitting the holes rather than dancing in the backfield like I have been used to seeing from both Barber and Jones.

I think Choice should be let out of Garrett's doghouse now and given more opportunities to help the TEAM. He made the most of each and every play he was involved in, and if we are really playing the best players, I see no reason why he shouldn't get more touches going forward.

no doubt about it. I just dont understand what's going on there.

I am hoping that red ball decides to increase Choice's role and decrease barbers.

I've been a supporter of his ever since that game he had in Pitt a couple of years ago.

You're right! If he would stop playing like it's about him he might see more time. He had one good run inside the Lions 20, gets up and showboats!! Get back in the huddle for the next play!! Celebrate when you SCORE!!

yea he runs hard. I would love to see him spell felix the first half and then have barber come in to close games in the second half.

LOL, if Garrett had a problem with pointless celebrating Barber wouldn't even be on the team anymore.

Yeah...hard to argue against that!

I can't really blame him for that... he's a pretty young guy who doesn't get many carries, so when he makes a good play he gets excited. Even if it's not a score...

I really hope that Red Ball has a better reason for not playing him then the fact that he wants to play more and is not shy about talking about it.

Barber show boats everytime he gets a run for positive yardage

I think Choice just has great vision at the point of attack.

He reads blocks very well, and knows when to bounce outside, and more importantly, when not to. Choice doesn't get a lot of negative-yardage plays, which is the biggest problem with Barber and occasionally Felix.

The OL isn't helping any of the 3, however. Colombo and Davis look absolutely done.

Looks like the 3 headed monster never materialized in Dallas. Choice should be involved and it's a shame to waste his talent.

The right side of our OL might be as bad as any team's in football.

Davis did play better after the holding call for the safety, but that wouldnt have taken much to accomplish.

I think they did some big blocking scheme changes after that play. They gave him and Columbo some major help from that point on.

:hammer:

They are really quite bad.

must have hit on Jerry Jones' wife because there's absolutely no excuse to keeping in on the sidelines over Barber.

None.

None at all.

Agreed. I've long thought there's something going on behind the scenes with Choice. There's no reason not to play him, especially when he's a) proven himself on the field and b) the others guys in front of him aren't doing so hot.

I can't understand for the life of me why Choice doesn't get carries.
