Has this ever happened?

Just happened in the Texans-Jaguars game by Andre Davis.

Edit: 7 times someone has returned 2 in one game, but apparently none back-to-back.

They just said 7 times people have returned 2 in one game, but nothing about whether or not any of those were back-to-back returns.

Andre Davis had both of them? Or was it back to back plays?

He had one just before the half with only a few seconds left on the clock and returned the halftime opener for one as well.

Damn...I seriously doubt that has ever happened.

BTW, the Bears/Saints game is of epic comedic proportion.

yeah, i thought the thread was refering to back to back plays that resulted in TD, and those plays happen to be kickoffs....
SO TEAM A KO - TEAM B return for TD
TEAM B KO - TEAM A return for TD

or does it mean TEAM A KO - TEAM B return for TD
TEAM B KO, then TEAM A gets a FG/TD,
then TEAM A KO -TEAM B return for TD?

or what you just said with
TEAM A KO - TEAM B return for TD
half
TEAM A KO - TEAM B return for TD

:D

Way too many kick returns for TDs this year. Not sure if it is better returners or poor coverage?

Its because of poor players. Not enough veterans playing special teams and not enough of teams better players playing special teams anymore because of the lack of depth and chance of injury.

Hester just took one back 64 yards. I remember when kick return TDs were rare. Not anymore......:lmao2:

It was a punt, FWIW.

This is why it was better back in the day when White and Theismann were QBs....on 4th down they could drop back in shotgun formation and the defense didn't know if they were going for it or punting......since either could happen.

Owen Schmidt. Put him in punt formation...will he punt? or will he run?

I wonder if he can throw the ball.

Maybe we can teach McFadden to punt. :banghead:
