Back to the 4-3?

If we don't hire Wade Phillips, I think there is a good chance we go back to the 4-3. I don't like the move, but its a possibility. I think a 4-3 lineup would have to look like this:

DE- Ware
DT- Fergi
DT- Spears
DE- Hatcher/Canty

SLB- Carp
MLB- James
WLB- Akin

I'm not counting on Ellis on this lineup. I also think James would be relegated to a two down player, replaced by Burnett in the nickel.

What difference does it make? The Cowboys are full of hybrids anyway.

switching back to the 4-3 would not be that hard, so I hope Jerry does not feel married to the idea that we have to run a 3-4, hire the best available D coordinator whatever scheme that coach may run.
