I have never looked for the exact code to match the color.

I just use a small screen capture of the area and then match it using the eye dropper tool.

what do u want it for tho, cuz u dont need it if you want to make a background transparent

d~i have tried in the past to leave the parts of the background trans but it always turns white....how do you have it so it stays trans?

when u save it, instead of just going to "save as", go to "save for web" and then to the right in the pull down menu click on png and save it, it should work
