At the moment they have Rush. I suspect that Foles will be the target. If Foles gets released, I think there is a good shot at getting Foles. Also, they might try to get Gilbert on the practice squad.

They will bring in the cheapest vet journeyman QB at some point this season...someone with experience but it's debatable whether they would even be an upgrade to Cooper Rush. Think Matt Cassel in 2015, someone on that level

I think you are right about Foles being the target but I don't think they will even wait for him to be released. They restructured Zeke's contract a few days ago to free up some $$$ and being aggressive to go after Foles is the reason.

even if we wait until week two and sign a qb or two to come in with no guaranteed salary that cool with me , i doubt rush is the guy for anymore then to fill in in game dak gets inured in, we will bring in a vet..cuttings GG and Nooch is sign but when they bring him in is unimportant..betting a guy like cam sits out until a starting position opens , so if dak goes down you grab guy like that..

id like to see foles maybe cam..but im not sweating it at the moment until Dak gets hurt..

the day hasnt ended and moves wont stop all the way until game 1 teams will change players out many times churning for backups NO Rush in replacing Rush

Personally I'd cut Rush and roll with 1 QB, at least for the initial 53... until/unless the need or opportunity rises to pick up someone better. Rush doesn't really belong on an NFL roster.
