Backup QB

Teddy Bridgewater is looking pretty good too.

I dont trust teddy on that suspect knee/leg that just goes out at times without being touched.

And what he has done in the preseason is nothing compared to what would be in the regular season.

I swear the jets brought in triple the protection whenever that guy dropped back to throw in preseason.

I'll pass.

I think one of the vets with the Jets will come free if it’s Teddy I think he might get traded to be a starter. Stanton might come free in Cleveland. Not sure what other vet might come free.

I dont like wishing injury on anyone, but I kinds hope Mike White breaks a pinky and we can IR him. That way he dont have to keep him on the 53

Not only that, he came into camp in shape and ready to play after rehabbing from injury. I'm actually thinking Keenum is the bridge, and Kelly will get the job as soon as he's ready.
He was considered a legit top 10 pick going into his SR year

Coming into this game I thought White was PS and Rush was the backup, I try not to overreact to one game - especially preseason - but Rush really seems to have stepped back enough to lose his roster spot. I don't see White as the backup, but if he is the #3 a guy like Bridgewater would be a good fit.

Hes a huge upgrade over what we saw tonight, right?

They should let NFL teams use the NBA rules where a guy has "back spasms" that don't show up on imaging and may not be there when a doctor examines them.

Cooper Rush has looked really bad this preseason, although the line has been bad in front of him. White looked bad early but has come on of late.

If I were the Cowboys I would not waste two roster spots on these guys. I would probably keep White of the two. Don't be surprised if we cut both of them and sign a veteran backup if the opportunity presents itself.

Actually bridgwater hasnt even shown he can hold up in a regular season so I find that hard to believe.

Hell Rush preseason last year topples anything bridgewater has done in both of his.

I guess we'll disagree on this one.
