Bad Juju Against Dallas Winning The Super Bowl Next Year

The last time we had a long dry spell was between Super Bowl XII and XXVII. That's 15 years. We did play in Super Bowl XIII, but lost.

Super Bowl V...Miami, FL...Dallas lost, 13-16.

Super Bowl VI...New Orleans, LA...Dallas won, 24-3.

Super Bowl X...Miami, FL...Dallas lost, 17-21.

Super Bowl XII...New Orleans, LA...Dallas won, 27-10.

Super Bowl XIII...Miami, FL...Dallas lost, 31-35.

Super Bowl XXVII...Pasadena, CA...Dallas won, 52-17.

Super Bowl XXVIII...Atlanta, GA...Dallas won, 30-13.

Super Bowl XXX...Tempe, AZ...Dallas won, 27-17.


Next year...Super Bowl XLIV...Miami, FL. 14 year gap since our last Super Bowl.



My completely irrational conclusion...if we were to make it there we would lose because it would be in Miami after a 14 year gap instead of a 15 year gap. Much like the mirror image 14 year gap between XIII and XXVII.

Our best hope is Super Bowl XLV, to be played in Arlington, TX, our home field after a 15 year drought.
