And say it with me. In no way does that mean the Cowboys are right.

Is that on 'rolling paper'?

Call me a liar, but I was all in on Murray last year as a breakout fantasy football player. Did I envision 1,800 yards? No, but based on 1,100 in 2013 and another 1st round pick invested on the offensive line, his arrow was certainly pointing up. The question was more about pass-happy coaches than it was in Murray's ability. But feel free to call me a liar.

The line can be all-world, but it doesn't mean any bum can run behind it successfully.

I said. R-E-L-A-X

Totally true. I think it's been a huge difference of opinion from those outside the organization, the media and the fans, and those inside the organization, believing in who they have.

For better or worse, the team seems steadfast in their belief and I remain steadfast in disagreeing with them. Until the season gets underway, we won't know who's right or wrong. But unfortunately, by then it's too late to do much to change things, so I hope they're right.

I prefer to believe the Cowboys personnel department over those of a fan.

I have no problem with that. But to simply assume they're always going to be right is foolish. I've been right where they've been wrong in the past too and vice versa.

I am fine with Randle and McFadden to start the season. But we need quality depth. And your best chance to get that is now, right before 53 cuts with a trade or right after if you have a wink-nod deal in place with a player's agent. Dunbar is a gadget and I would happily replace him with a young back with 3-down potential (Michael, Brown, Rawls, Cyrus Gray). Hoping that Randle and McFadden stay healthy is not a plan...

He did. And I think it was. For some people to minimize his loss, and also to make McFadden's own poor injury history look more acceptable. Folks can tell themselves whatever they want to believe.

Not so far. But as crazy as it sounds, I've been doing some personal homework on Trent Richardson. Call it morbid curiosity.

They've been right more times than not the last few years. The RB's on the roster now can run effectively behind the offense line as long as the stay healthy. I have no doubt of that. Health is something out of anyone's control.

Yeah, but history of injury isn't. If they want to take a risk/reward chance on McFadden, that's one thing. But doing that when they also have questions surrounding Randle, and employing a specialty back on top of that? That far too much risk in my opinion.

If it was any one of these factors individually, I could see it, but all three makes me concerned.

I think it's a fallacy that just because a player was injured in the past means that he will be injured in the future. Murray case in point. Sometimes it's true and sometimes it's not.

Actually, no. Those are misleading screen captures that fail to give the real picture but work great when someone is trying to bury a guy. I know he's had his struggles but a few screen caps don't tell the whole story.

That's cool. But players don't typically go from injury prone to iron men.

Prior history is an excellent presursor to future performance. Or lack thereof.

The actual phrase is past performance is no guarantee of future results.

I drafted him 9th last year. Expected big things.

All things considered, why wouldn't you? He was an up and coming 1,100 yard back who could catch the ball too. And we all saw that the offensive line was on the rise. Throw in another lineman, considered the safest pick in the 1st round and it all added up to him having a great year.

Exactly, his success was not unexpected if you were a Cowboy fan or half way alert. It didn't come out of nowhere.

And by the same token, Randle is going in the 40s this year, where he has some value but not a lot
