Today's game reminded me of the "almost" games under Campo.
How many games did we lose under Campo by less than 7 points? That was our solace? It made us feel like we were almost there. It felt like we were a play here and a play there from turning things around.
10 years later, we're still taking solace from those "almost" games. If we did this ... if we did that ... we'd have won the game.
It really sucks. We're perpetually stuck in neutral. We've gone nowhere over the past 15 years. I'm tired of this BS. Everyone talks about parity ... but over those 15 years, the Giants have played in 3 Super Bowls and won two of then. The Patriots have been in 6 Super Bowls and won 4 of them.
Those are top of the top ... that was once OUR place. Now we're just another set of Bengals, Lions, and Browns ... only with a nicer stadium.
I'm really tired of the Jones Empire. I really am.
