One thing that impressed me last night was when Costa snapped early, Romo was able to recover the ball so quickly. I've seen him do that several times over the years. Either he's just lucky and the ball bounces right, or he has a great feel for anticipating how the ball bounces. I'm not sure that other QB's can do what Romo can when the ball hits the turf. Hate to see it happen, but when it does, I feel better with Romo back there than other QB's.
 
Exactly right. Romo has tremendous hand eye coordindation and this is one of may examples of this.

BTW we're lucky to have him.
 
Basketball skills, actually. He played a lot as an amateur and still plays now.

AND.... he knows that once he has control of ball he has to do an ole because he senses/knows the defender is close

almost by design - get ball then spin, get ball then juke etc...
 
What I dont understand is why didnt Dallas make an adjustment and go to a silent snap count, or use a key word to initiate the cadence so they wouldnt keep getting hosed? You cant just keep doing the same thing over and over.

He plays a lot of soccer also. Probably more.
