I Tivo'd the entire Hall of Fame induction, and skipped past some of the inductees in order to catch Irvin's live.

I'm watching Thurman Thomas' induction on nfl.com, and I noticed something that was HILARIOUS to me but might be considered "classless" by others.

http://nfl.com/ The link to Thurman's speech (and all the others) is on the right.

Skip ahead 1:50 into Thurman's speech... he is giving thanks to Ralph Wilson, the Bills owner, who is sitting in the audience. The camera pans to Ralph as he is waving back at Thomas.

However, there's a Cowboys fan wearing an Irvin jersey and holding a Cowboys helmet sitting right behind Mr. Wilson. The fan notices that he now has some face time, and decides to take full advantage.

His hand-signals say it all... "Cowboys: 5... Bills/Ralph Wilson: 0."

That is funny. Also, when he was talking about how great the fans are in Buffalo, they showed two guys with a 12th man sign. There's a guy behind them giving the thumbs down and booing. Football fans are so freaking funny.

Thurman said he was nervous and Irvin said he could not wait for his speech.

kinda the same as when the Cowboys wipped their butt in two straight Super Bowls. i think of the movie Twister, and Philip Seymour Hoffman yelling "LOSER" at the shiney Suburban storm chaser competition guys.

Notice when they did the Thomas reels, there were no highlights of the two Cowboys Superbowl wins? That's because he was on his back in the backfield, with the ball bouncing around somewhere else..........

I thought there was one highlight of him scoring against us very early in a SB game and assumed it was one of our SB wins against the Bills cause can't remember if we ever played them in other time before or since the SBs.

we played them twice, and they beat us, so must have been those regular season games

It was SB 28, and very early in the game.

Wow. That is totally classless. This that was Thurman's moment. That isn't right.

You get some class. You don't act that way at someone's HoF induction. Tell me, do you also shout insults at people's weddings? Or funerals?

Having "sack" means being man enough to show someone respect.

how many wrongs make a right?

the post you note clearly says that crap is wrong. but we've got folks here who think taunting someone on their day is right. big difference there.
No wrongs make a right. I never said they did.

The difference is in people clowning around versus being downright hateful. That by a man who was there and heard things so bad he couldn't share them.

and the difference being one poster being clearly disgusted by it and another being 100% behind the actions.

i will fight you all the way to 10,000 on this if I need to!
That's fine Ab. Read the original post again. He clearly says some may find it "classless."

Don't try and tell me you're someone who has never laughed at someone clowning around. Don't tell me you have never clowned around yourself and poked fun at other people. Don't tell me you're someone who has never laughed when someone falls. I won't believe you. You see, I think you're human underneath all the finger pointing.

That was a compliment BTW.
