Bain or Delane?

I think there is a very good chance that one of these two will be the best player available at 12 when the cowboys get on the clock. Which player do you prefer if you could have your choice? I honestly go back and forth between the two, it’s really close in my opinion as far as which player is the better prospect.

Fairly similar grades for me.

If both are there at 12 flip a coin.

I would probably lean pass rusher bc I feel like it is the bigger need.

I'm a big believer that a great defense starts with the quality of the D-line. I base this belief on the Cowboys history.

The Cowboys could not have made it to 8 Super Bowls and 16 conference championships without DEs like George Andrie, Harvey Martin and Charles Haley.

I would choose Bain.

I think they're both in that "plus starter" zone as prospects. Guys who could end up being one of the top dozen players at their position in 2 or 3 seasons, but maybe not All-Pros. And they both play money positions.

I'll give it to Bain by a nose.

No beef with him, I just think Bain is a top 3 player, he’s an animal. I just don’t understand how people can compare them as prospects.

Delane is a good player but overrated IMO, his tape last year was really really bad. Turned it around this year but can’t get 2024 out of my head when discussing him as a prospect.

I'd go for the pass rusher every time.

Most people’s rankings have them quite close together..I do agree that Bain is probably widely recognized as a bit better but not that much of a difference

Based on our current roster, I think the need of another pass rusher outweighs taking a corner.
