Saw a note from ESPN he’s got a torn labrum left shoulder . Why is this info public for other teams to see. Is the NFL demanding every injury or physical ailment be disclosed team by team player by player.

Not sure who backs him up but it could have implications for teams chasing the Browns .

why is this information public? Money.

Ostensibly so no one has "inside" information... And if a player misses practice /part of a practice due to an injury it, by nfl rules/operation procedures, has to be reported.

I got you . Makes sense , thanks . In the NHL they say a player has “ an upper body injury “ that’s about as specific as they get.

You can bet Mayfields left shoulder will be a source for opposing teams

The hypocrisy of the NFL once again on display. They are so against betting on Pro Football yet this clearly only truly benefits gamblers.

If football doesn't work this guy could do Hollywood, yep, he has it.

Well, they now officially allow it and partner with gambling, meaning they get a portion of gambling revenue… I guess it’s not a conflict of interest though..

At this rate he won't be getting an extension after year 4 either.
Cleveland has been desperate for so long for any kind of decent QB play he might still get it.

QBs are unlike any other position. A CB, RB, WR, you name it, if he's at the top of his class, he'll be paid market value. If he isn't, he'll get a smaller contract better suited for his contributions. This isn't the case with QBs. If you extend a QB off of his rookie contract it has to be market value regardless of how good he is. Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson will not accept anything less than market value. This is why they don't have an extension right now. They would rather move to another team for dirt cheap money and try to prove themselves over taking a team friendly contract.
