Baldinger: I don't believe in Cowboys, Giants will control the line of scrimmage

Keep in mind their entire defense will be tough and violent too.

Add to that losing Tyler Smith and now Malik Davis. Things are going south in a hurry.

And when Dallas beats them handily

Then it’ll be “oh it was just the giants”

We won't beat them running up the gut. They are too stout. But we can challenge their cb's with passing often. That should open up the run attack off tackle. Screen game will be there for the asking. Use their aggression against them.

The Cowboys had 135 & 143 yards rushing vs the giants last year. They have traded away their best DT (Dexter Lawrence) and replaced him with a lesser run stopper off the street. Their interior DL are DJ Reader, Shelby Harris, and ex cowboy Chauncey Golston. Why the heck would you think they can't run up the gut?

Shelby Harris. DJ Reader are improvements. That's why. This particular HC prides himself on stopping the run. I believe they will be overly aggressive and we should counter that aggression with rb screens often. I think we can hurt them more in the air than running. Giants will be improved. But I think we will win the game.

How are they stout up the middle? They have one dt that's done anything in the league.

But anyway, I'm glad some media is fawning over us. Got tired of the Cowboys hype.

sounds like you might be leaning toward a loss in this one pal.

Harbaugh will have these guys up front playing hard. You better understand that. We can run on them but only if we open up the game passing on them. Burn them a few times and get them on their heels. Then we will run. I believe that's how this will play out. We win 27-17. Pulling away late.

I just think Dallas' skill position advantage is the difference--especially if Nabers doesn't play or isn't 100%.

Harris is a big boy and tips alot of passes. He also is good against the run. Reader ain't no slouch.

I do too. Long as our hc doesn't try to force the run into the teeth of the d, we should see success passing.

Harbaugh is the Giant's first legitimate HC since Coughlin. This isn't going to be as easy as some on here may think.
Plus, Parker isn't battle tested yet. This could get ugly.

Baldy sees what I see but what he forgets is we have Dak, Christian Parker and our receivers. Too much weaponry.
