For those wondering about Doug Baldwin's unsportsmanlike penalty after his touchdown, which wasn't shown on the broadcast...

He pretended to pull his pants down and squat, then he "pooped" the football onto the turf.

While strangely funny, is that honestly what a guy thinks of doing when he scores a touchdown in the Super Bowl? That's certainly not how to get an endorsement or have a play live in NFL Films infamy.

Bad karma, too.

Yea that's what I'd want to be remembered for...I think some of the guys seriously have the IQ of that football.

That's the sort of stuff that makes it very hard for me to respect Pete Carroll as a coach. I want to like the guy, I really do.... but I see an incredibly talented, yet ridiculously undisciplined team.

And while hindsight is 20/20 and that subsequent penalty did not hurt Seattle, at the time I sure would not be happy giving a free 15 to New England.

I didn't watch the game but that is something I sure don't want to see from any player on any team.

It's not funny nor clever.

I saw him motion like he was pulling his pants down, but I didn't see the "poop" of the ball. They must have a delay even on the broadcast and caught it before it made the air.

But it's ssssoooo juvenile and stupid. I'm kind of glad they loss. I just don't like the trash talk, not the way they do it. It's one thing to trash talk to your opponent, it's another to be so open about it and to be publicly disrespectful in the process. The Seahawks are the latter.

I agree. You score a touchdown in the Super Bowl and you celebrate by imitating yourself taking a dump?:thumbdown:

Years later. "He's the guy who scored a touchdown then celebrated by taking a dump."

I guess he thought that was funny. NEWSFLASH. It's not. I don't mind the dancing & goofing off really but that? A major fail.

Ahhhhh I didn't realize that. I saw where he simulated pulling his pants down and then they cut away so I assumed he was simulating mooning everyone.

I told my buddies I was watching the game with, right after that, that I'd laugh so hard is Seattle wound up blowing that lead and losing the game after that. So it was hilarious when they did.

At least he didn't pull out the cardboard cutout of himself after the TD.

Stupid and juvenile but if someone did it over and Eagles logo and followed it up with the dog butt dragging thing...I'd probably watch it a few times, maybe make a gif, send a few emails.

If I remember correctly the pats got the ball out at about the 36 yd line and went on to score on that drive. Just plain stupid

This is why I hate them. This isn't like having one mouthy guy who is a spark like Irvin. They're team is trash. All of them, even scrubs like Baldwin, have a chip and talk too much. They acted like they pulled together and were so much better than GB despite being gifted the game. They're greasiness game back and bit them

Such nonsense. Not a good weekend for the Seahawks. They lost and had no class doing it.

I'd be personally embarrassed if the Cowboys ever did this.

Even at the end of the game on the kneel down the Hawks players crashed the center instead of just acknowledging the winner.

I know its legal , but to me it just continued the " spoiled brat" you took my toy mentality demonstrated by the brawl, and this classless display by Baldwin.
