And let’s be real here, these are just awful throws no matter the personnel packages. This is just complete hot garbage.

This man basically never takes his eyes of the receiver he is going to, staring them down, and if he’s actually holding the ball, it’s probably more out of confusion than going through his progressions.

The Rush game plan makes more sense given the strengths and weaknesses of this team, and should remain the plan with either QB.

Stop trying to Air Raid teams with Dak and play to your strengths - runs, quick passes, and the occasional play action down the field.
Run the football
Get your chunk plays with play action
It works

Play action works best when taking the snap from under center. Dak doesn't do that well. If he's under center it's a run. Defenses know this.

“they don't HAVE to RELY on Dak playing hero ball. That isn't so say Dak isn't capable, but that formula isn't sustainable”

This quote is incorrect and I understand that he HAD to say the last part….but it’s not true that Dak is capable of playing “hero ball”……the last 6 years has proven that.

yup. Dak averages something like 25-30% under center and Rush has averaged 50%

I like the fact that Rush is lining up under center a lot more except when the down and distance to go calls for it.

Lining up under center sells play action a lot more than just turning and faking a handoff to the running back standing beside you.

This is what I think Dak needs to do more often. More play action and it keeps the linebackers guessing whether to play to the run or the pass. Prescott and Kellen Moore needs to go back to the basics and play more under center.

KM needs to run offense for Dak just like he does for Rush.

Running game sets up play action.

And Cowboys produce near elite production off play action.

Its funny because the resident "wanna be geniuses" but really low IQ haters here will tell you that they run the same identical game plan for both to try to diminish the other player.

Cooper is doing a great job.... but anyone with a half of brain knew the play calling was different for Rush than it was for Dak.

This thread will anger a few people because the real life LOGIC and FACTS doesn't line up with their hypocritical agenda.

Lot of CYA going on here. Save that face, Sturm!

Rush checked out of several plays and got the ball out of his hand quickly to intermediate routes, not the check downs we see from Dak constantly.

Rush knows what he's doing.

Rush definitely knows what he's doing, but audibles don't have everything to do with this.

There sending different personnel set ups out of the huddle in there for Rush than they are for Dak. They have more double TE sets per play than they did for Dak.

You're not going to call many run plays when they trot out 3 WR sets with Dak. They haven't sent out many 3 WR sets for Rush as they normally do for Dak.

12 personnel is there game. Not a big flashy 4 WR sets. But it’s running the ball and protecting your QB and play action.

Not sure, what are your thoughts on it?

I'm not using the injury as an excuse for Dak. The Oline went in the toilet, which led to the run game and pass protection going into the toilet. Then the defenses changed to stopping the pass and we couldnt make them pay.
