This is why I like our chances........Hurts WILL NOT get this kind of time to sit in the pocket. Will say it again, we match up well.

That Eagles left tackle had his hands clamped hard when holding that Titans player's jersey the whole 8+ seconds until the ball was passed downfield. Result: no flag.

Cowboys left guard, Connor McGovern, had a slight hold of his opponent's jersey just below his arm pit for only 2-3 seconds which he quickly released. Result: flag killed a drive that was in Packers territory when driving for a win in overtime.

Yeah, there is no bias officiating, right @Rockport and all of your in denial clan??? o_O:mad:

Titans plan seemed to be to keep Hurts inside the pocket and forced him to beat them with his arm, that backfired ugly.

We should approach the Hurts problem a bit differently, commit to stopping the run, whatever it takes, take out a Safety and put in an extra LB, spy Hurts with Dono, play Bohanna and Hankins at the same time... whatever it takes... then blitz him heavy and often.

Get a lead, run the ball.

Watching highlights from that game...

It really looked like, even from the 1st drive of the game...
That several titan defenders weren't even giving 50% effort.

It was...................unsettling.

? We match up well? I would say they are the team we match up worst with. They can run the ball. They can stop the pass. The only thing they have had trouble with is stopping the run, and I think they have that shored up. We will get some pressure on them but I think their online will neutralize a lot of our pass rush … it’s not like parsons did much vs them in Philly.

You have to come after him and get him to move/run… spy him and make him pay every time he tucks it and wear him down or knock him out of the game.

Physically punish the QB. Punish him when he passes. Punish him when he scrambles. Blitz the rollouts and the RPOs, and be ready to sit on the screens and the drags.

But whatever you do, don’t play scared, and don’t sit back and try and react to them. Take the pressure to what they like to do and make them adjust.

A couple unnecessary roughness flags wouldn't Hurts . . .

That’s not holding you’re allowed to grab jersey, happens every play and will never get called when your hands are inside. McGivern threw the guy down , that get’s called every time.
