Bit of a red flag being that he has a back surgery in his past, but Zavala is a good player.
Looking over the scouting reports, I agree that is the only thing that concerns me.
Bottom line stay away from any prospect that has disc problems. Otherwise I like him
Probably can get him in the third which is also a positive

I am really starting to like Chandler Zavala. You likely can get him in round 3. He’s a bit older as he will be 24 when the season begins.

At NC State he was handing the starting job in 2021 and in five games at left guard he allowed no sacks and just 4 total pressures before suffering a back injury ending his season.

In 2022 Zavala made 13 starts at left guard and had an elite year as he again didn't allow a single sack and just 4 pressures on the year.

The past two years he's been elite as a pass blocker - he hasn't allowed a single sack and just 8 pressures during that period
Chandler Zavala is one of my pet cats.

Good game footage and appears to really understand blocking schemes (based on a video interview).
