He was.

As I said in another thread, that Dak is a guy that can take this team to the SB. If he plays like this next week against San Fran, I feel confident about getting the W.

But the reality is that Dak has been wildly inconsistent this year. We can't have the Dak that throws a couple picks and some other questionable throws next week if we want to advance to Philly for the NFCCG (yeah, I don't think the Giants have a chance).

Signature win for Dak. For now. Could be a galvanizing type win for the entire franchise going forward.

They believe. Now they went on the road and proved it once. Huge game vs SF obviously, but they go in with a TON of confidence and mojo.

100% of the pressure is on Purdy. No one thinks Dallas beats SF. If Dak and Dallas duplicate this week— they get to play a division rival in the NFCCG— and Dak flat out OWNS the NFCE.

Bros— this W last night may, just may, have been the dawn breaking through a very, very, long dark night for this franchise

I thought Dak played the best playoff game of his career. When necessary he either took the sack or threw it away. His running was well timed.
For the most part his passes were dead on. I thought one (which was caught) was high, but reviewing I could see he had to get it over a LB.

BTW, what I said earlier last week: missing Biadiaz was HUGE. Not just him---he may not be an all-pro---but messing with the whole line was a disaster. When he was back AFTER they
took out Peters, who just can't play anymore, and got the Smith/McGovern/Biadiaz/Martin/Smith line back, they were much better in pass protection. Without Steele they still lack run blocking big time, but at least ehy
could protect Dak better.

And . . . LVE has greatly elevated his game this year, and all the announcers are mentioning it.

Oh, and did I say Troy Aikman has to be one of the worst color guys in the business. I think he has regressed. All he does is to say "yeah . . ." to whatever Buck says.

I don't care what Quinn has to do but he has to put Purdy in some passing situations. I worry our DTs get beat up this weekend. LVE is going to have to play another great game in run support.

Notice how we won something of substance and people show respect..

Don’t act like it’s the “haters” that were the problem. It’s the 7 years and lack of playoff success that was the problem. Not the “haters”.
What about the lack of playoff success under Romo?

True, but I still maintain that 90% of Dak's effectiveness or ineffectiveness is pass protection, with or without the run game. Last night the run game was "meh" but Smith/McGovern/Biadiaz/Martin/Smith are a VERY good pass blocking line.
We badly miss Steele for the run blocking, and Tyron Smith on the wrong side still gets beat, but not much.
If Dak has a pocket---which he REALLY did last night . . . look at those replays and see the big lanes to throw through---he is effective most of the time. And I agree, "THIS" Dak can win a Super Bowl.

Oh, did anyone notice? At one time we were 23 run, 23 pass.

Troy says ... YEAH ... when he sees his paycheck deposit hits his bank account .... Yeah, sit back and relax saying a few quips in the booth ...

But that is ok, good for him, don't we all wish we could do that.

You know what else has been wildly inconsistent this year? The personnel on the Offensive line, the play calling, the game planning, the separation (or lack of) by wide receivers, the dropped and tipped passes right into opposing players hands... Almost like some of these things might affect the quarterback.
