Dak was on fire.
Don’t get me wrong- it was a full team (and coaching) effort, but damn he was just rolling last night.
I think at one point he had like 10 consecutive completions. He was running when he needed to run. Making crisp decisive throws. O line looked good, TE’s and WR’s looked good.
Awesome game.

Notice how we won something of substance and people show respect..

Don’t act like it’s the “haters” that were the problem. It’s the 7 years and lack of playoff success that was the problem. Not the “haters”.

You know what else has been wildly inconsistent this year? The personnel on the Offensive line, the play calling, the game planning, the separation (or lack of) by wide receivers, the dropped and tipped passes right into opposing players hands... Almost like some of these things might affect the quarterback.
Playing against good teams usually affects that too,,, if they can execute like that against San Fran and not do the jeckyl/hyde thing then we might be getting over that hump.

Amazing how what the team does affects the qb's play isn't it?

This is why i defended Dak so much last year vs SF because we had 14, a bunch of drops and our defense couldn't get off the field. Hard to win when that happens.

Dak was A+ last night but the real test starts on Sunday. Bucs aren’t a playoff team 9 out of 10 years.
LOL
“real test starts on Sunday”
C’mon. We just absolutely squashed a team that half of this board thought would beat us. We just put the GOAT QB out to pasture.
A playoff game is a playoff game.

When we win next week what’ll it be? “Oh they were starting a 3rd string rookie mr irrelevant QB, who was bound to run out of luck. The REAL test will be the NFC championship game”.

We played as well if not better than all of the other playoff teams from this weekend.

Signature win for Dak. For now. Could be a galvanizing type win for the entire franchise going forward.

They believe. Now they went on the road and proved it once. Huge game vs SF obviously, but they go in with a TON of confidence and mojo.

100% of the pressure is on Purdy. No one thinks Dallas beats SF. If Dak and Dallas duplicate this week— they get to play a division rival in the NFCCG— and Dak flat out OWNS the NFCE.

Bros— this W last night may, just may, have been the dawn breaking through a very, very, long dark night for this franchise
Pressure is and always will be on the Cowboys. The talking heads are now saying Brady is washed and the Bucs suck. The reality the Cowboys have a good chance to beat the 49ers. That is all you can really ask for but it is a Super Bowl or bust.

But Dak didn't play well either in that San Fran game. You went to the opposite as the Dak haters, making nothing but excuses for Dak's play.

That game was terrible last year and there was blame to go around to multiple areas - coaches, defense and yes, the QB.

He had his share of mistakes but the usual suspects blamed it ALL on him.

Again...all of the factors i listed is not winning football no matter who your qb is against a very good team.

Dak looked very prepared once the game slowed down for him. He also looked a little rattled in the beginning. However the defense gave him some second chances. The crowd was really into it early on. I think it’s important the defense is hot early and let’s them ease into the games

I think 99% of the inconsistency you see is due to the O-Line being forced first to deal with Steele's loss (I can't tell you how critical that was in the run game, which completely changed Moore's play calling), and then having to move the Smiths around and Biadiaz's injury. This affects play calling, receiver separation (i.e., give a receiver 2 more seconds and see how open he gets).
If we can keep this exact o-line intact, we can go to the Super Bowl. My biggest concern now is the injuries to the secondary, not Dak or the offense.

Seems like Dak can just flip a switch and, BAM!, he becomes unstoppable. Making the right reads and pinpoint throws into tight spaces, throwing accurately on the move, getting critical yardage with his legs, excellent ball handling on fakes/boots. The Dude is a monster when he is on, exuding infectious confidence that really elevates the entire team

Rinse - repeat, please.

I think Dak taking off on some runs really helped loosen Dak up, he just seemed to play more freely.
This is key. We haven't seen Dak use his legs all year and defenses played us that way. Now that Sf has seen it on tape, it's something else they have to prepare for. No one is going to confuse Prescott with Fields, Hurts, Jones or any other offense that uses the QB as a staple of their running game. But, if opposing defenses have to start accounting for him with a defender it opens up more of the field and the playbook. Dak doesn't need to rush for 70 yards for his team to win, like other offenses. He just needs to recognize the space in front of him and utilize it. The best version of Dak is and always has been a mobile Dak.

Dad played outstanding, notice his detractors are awfully silent
Just like his fandom was quiet after Washington.

Lets face it - he sucks sometimes and looks great others.

I am just looking for an Eli run like I said last night when Eli was saying ' when Dak is bad, he is very bad" - Just like ELI!

Yeah they have to use it more. The 4th down naked boot should have been run on 3rd down!
