It was really really nice seeing the offense come out firing on all cylinders yesterday.

A LOT of folks on this board predicted an ugly low scoring affair. For us to march up and down the field like that on what was being called one of the top defenses was awesome. The only negative that could possibly be called out was us not cashing in on TD’s on all of those red zone trips. But, even so we still put up 30 points and hey our kicker got some work in, and looked good, so hopefully that’ll ease some concerns regarding our kicking game.

Baldy is 100% correct.

I loved the screen to Dawdle with the FB blocking, but possibly the most creative play of the game was when Zack Martin faked a block on the DT, then moved out of his way. The DT fell forward and the back ran through the huge hole. Martin was able to easily get to the next level and block a LBer.

What's cool about his play designs are there are more than one option designed to get players into space, and Dak doesn't have to look 20 yards downfield all the time waiting on his guy to beat the other guy. Almost always somewhere to go with the ball on a positive play. As long as Dak doesn't force things, the offense is going to always move forward giving the team a chance to make plays and eat clock. Perfect compliment to this defense.
