I'd take all the defenses in the NFL running around our offensive linemen every play, while the Cowboy OL blasts forward for five to seven per carry. Ball control isn't a bad thing if you can do it consistantly. Remember the 2000 Ravens? They would destroy you on defense and then they would give the ball to Jamal Lewis all day long and he would run behind J Ogden and E Mulitalo all game long and just blow up the opposing defensive line. I remember the rookie RB Lewis eating the Dallas DL alive for about 190 yards that game...
If Dallas can make big strides on the DL this season and then turn around and start plugging away with our own version of ball control this season, we should be allright... Remember the Ravens in 2000 were number 3 in the NFL in offensive time of posession... Dallas was at that number with Hambone running the ball in 2003... If we get back to that number again, we have a better team, and with that, our chances of success late into the season increase...
