Can we all agree to never speak of that name again?

He was a terrible head coach. And wasted a lot of talent.

    Can't stand him!

Well....he didn't hire himself. We have Jerry to thank for him. Not Garrett's fault he wasn't fired sooner or hired to begin with.

Agree on terrible head coach. I blame JJ for wasting talent...he's the one that kept the terrible head coach.

His name isn't going anywhere. Fans endured 13 years of his garbage and will rip him every chance they get. Some fans anyway!

Oh no. Keep Garrett's legacy alive. Those 8-8 seasons ALL fall on Romo & Prescott according to some expert analyst on the Zone.:lmao:

No better way to eliminate discussion of a subject than to create a whole new thread based around that very subject.

I'll believe it when i read it. Guarantee some will still blame Garrett as we watch the Giants improve their offensive performance....they will say it's inspite of him too.

He definitely overstayed his welcome, but considering the cesspool of coaches we had endured before him, the teams with no direction, no one really at the helm, the hopeless years, the years without even being in the playoff hunt, And his record while here, he will go down as the third best coach we have had to this point.

The team philosophy, the rosters, the standing in the division, all improved dramatically. The problem was Jerry didn’t recognize when Garrett had lifted us from the bottom to mediocrity and then to a division favorite, but had bottomed out a few years ago. Garrett was a good coach who developed a team character, a team that never gave up and played hard. But someone to take us to the next level was needed at least 3-4 years earlier.
