Barber’s running style

I just wanted to throw my thoughts out there on Barber’s running style, and the thought that he’s going to have a short career.

I have to completely disagree. Thinking back to my poor playing days,:laugh2: it’s never the guys going 100% that get injured. Players get hurt, and payers get injured. Barbers going to get hurt, he’s going to get hit and see the stars... But he’s not going to get injured. Tough guys play when their hurt.

The players who let up slightly on a play are the ones that end up getting injured. Barber has run this way since he was 5 years old, and I don’t see him changing it. And I see him having a long career with the Cowboys. I hope he does.

Just my opinion while waiting for the draft :starspin

Dorsett commented on this the other day and I agree with him. MBIII is like Earl Campbell. He runs over people and takes way more hits than most RB's. This will shorten his career. He needs to learn how to make more defenders miss and run out bounds when there isn't anything else to gain like Emmitt did. Let's hope he can do that.

A lepoard can't change his spots.

With MBIII it's all heart. That is why he is so loved in Big D.

Yeah, but when he gets all-crippled from all those hits, he won't be so loved then.
