Cut your darn hair! Having those idiotic dreads not only gives defenders something to pull on, but it keeps you off balance!

Barber's hair saved the day today. I'd say it's the wrong time for you to start this thread.

Besides, if he cuts off his hair, he'll lose his strength. Like Sampson.

Look what happened to Ricky Williams. And Cedric Benson. They cut their dreads and they were never the same.

Yeah, ok. I hate to break it to you, but the wuss call that Barber was able to draw did not make or break the game.

this was probably one of the worst calls I've seen the refs make in a season of really bad calls, blown calls and non-calls.

I think what got them was Barber's head jerking back so it looked like maybe he'd been pulled down by the pads for a second. But I find it hard to believe that none of the officials saw that it was hair, Umpire, #96 Undrey Wash there in the picture in particular.

I loved the crappy call.

1) The offensive PI call on Witten was complete bull as well, and that was just a few plays before the Barber hair-pull play. So it evens out.

2) Ha! The rule was put in place thanks to the continued wussification of the NFL, and our own Roy Williams' effective take-down ability with it. One of the many rules the league has implemented (or "put a greater emphasis on") to limit a Cowboys player's effectiveness. So tough schtick. It's about time an anti-Cowboy rule helped us out, and it's even funnier to me that it wasn't anything close to a horsecollar.

It's ironic that someone named "Barber" dosn't seem to know what one is...;)

They got that call wrong, but they could have called him (Suh I think) for grabbing the facemask. It happened after he let go of his hair and it appears that his hands clearly make contact with the facemask. it still would have been a 15yd penalty.

Also, a couple plays earlier they called Witten for a horrendous offensive PI. The Lions sure didnt seem to upset when the refs made that call.

Dude, your hate of the team just eats you up doesnt it?

One of the "worst calls" of the season? ***?

Even in the picture you post, you cant CLEARLY tell if the guy has his hair or the inside of the back of the jersey.

It wasnt the right call, but it was hardly "worst call of the season" material either. Get a freaking clue.

That doesn't even look like the same player. He's definitely lost a step or two since then.
No kidding. I'll have to go back and watch some more of his old footage from the days he was "The Barbarian" to refresh my memory some.

His hair isn't the problem. It's his heart. Cutting hair wont give him more heart so it's useless to do so & moronic to think so.

This. When the play was over, I'm sure I saw Barber was making the facemask sign to the refs for the penalty. He wasn't making a to do about his hair at all.

His arm came around the helmet and he grabbed Barber's facemask.

It wasn't a horsecollar, it should have been called a facemash. Suh gets Barbers facemask with his other hand and turns Barber's head, before reaching out and grabbing Barber's hair.

Also this thread is stupid.

I'm glad you pointed this out so now I don't have too.

I didn't know having dreads was idiotic. Tell Tom Brady to cut his girly hair.
