He's not healthy.

He has clearly been outplayed on the field for several weeks now.

Felix is our guy during this run.

Hello! Blitz pickup is where Barber is needed. I don't have confidence in Felix and Choice at blitz pickup yet.

Yeah, the Eagles really took advantage of them by blitzing 70% of the plays. You could just tell the reason why the offense failed so miserably was the presence of Barber.

I just kept waiting patiently for Barber to enter the game because of how badly Felix was doing.

[/sarcasm off]

Barber is a useful back to have and most teams need at least a couple of backs to take snaps these days. With Choice getting dinged the last two weeks it is good to have a healthy Barber available if needed.

It is hard to play ball control with 30-35 rushes a game without splitting them up a bit.

this is good but i will be really dissapointed if felix doesnt get his 15 carries.the drives dont stall with him in the backfield.

Barber playing in his homestate for a chance to go to the NFCCG? Yeah, he was going to give his all to be ready for this one. Glad to see this confirmed.

Why didn the NFL Network just report that he didn't practice? This is the 2nd time they've been wrong on one of our backs. Choice was the other one just last week.

They love the Cowboys, they are trying to fool the Vikes into thinking Barber
won't play.:D

I'm sorry but Felix Jones and T. Choice gives Dallas the best chance at running back. MBIII could be used in short yardage situations.

Actually, I think he should just be the hammer at the end. Do you really think he would've gotten that short yardage Choice did last week? Just curious...

Seems to me when he's not healthy, like last week, he tends to dance in the backfield as opposed to taking it up in there.

I totally agree. I like Barber, and I think he is great between the 20s, but in short yardage scenarios, he dances too much in the backfield. Choice just saw a crease and went for it. I just hope that he is healthy for the game, and can run with the same intensity that we are used to. Barber is great for setting the tone in the running game in the early series.

We need 100% healthy Barber. I would rather have other 2 RB play more than having 80% healthy Barber taking carries from the other RBs.
