Jets' special teams coach Mike Westhoff suggests LB Bobby Carpenter cost Dolphins' ST coach John Bonamego his job after dreadful special teams play in Monday Night's Week 5 loss to New England.

Westhoff notes that Carpenter was partly responsible for the blocked punt, as well as failing to contain Pats KR Brandon Tate inside on his touchdown return. As a former first-round pick, Carpenter is playing for his third team in two years.

Millions of people out of work in this country and yet he has a job. Amazing.

carp only had been with Miami for a short time; and he was pretty good on ST with us. So blaming him is a little unfair; as we have found out, it takes a while for players to get used to each other on ST.

I actually didn't see the plays in question (Jets/Dolphins game), can someone explain how Bob Carpenter managed to blow it this time?

I'm currently prowling to determine who's the worst Cowboys player playing a significant amount of snaps (looks like Alan Ball, so far). I'm pretty sure that player will find their way to Miami.

What's really sad is he's so filthy rich he doesn't even need the job.
