Sometimes losing a key player on offense can be eye-opening for a playcaller in that they find out they don't have to have 70% of the playbook devoted to that one person. Also, Jones's ability to get out of the pocket instantly upgraded that offense. Reminds me of when Romo replaced Bledsoe...

The GIants' offense got much better when ODB was hurt and out of the lineup last year. Tate will be back after this week. Gallman is a serviceable back. They will definitely miss Barkley but if Solder learns how to pass protect, the offense should be okay. It is the defense I have no confidence in.
